I specialize in working with first responders, athletes, and high-performing individuals who are navigating stress, burnout, trauma, performance pressure, and life transitions. These roles demand resilience, discipline, and mental toughness—but even the strongest individuals can reach a point where the weight of expectations, experiences, or internal struggles becomes overwhelming.
My approach is direct, practical, and results-oriented. I work with clients to identify the patterns, beliefs, and behaviours that may be holding them back and help them develop strategies that promote clarity, resilience, and sustainable performance. Therapy is not about weakness—it is about developing the self-awareness and mental skills necessary to operate at your highest level, both professionally and personally.
Many of the people I work with feel stuck in cycles of stress, anxiety, self-doubt, or self-sabotaging behaviours. Together, we focus on understanding the underlying drivers of these patterns and replacing them with healthier, more effective ways of thinking and responding. The goal is not only symptom relief, but long-term personal growth, stronger relationships, and a renewed sense of purpose.
I also help clients navigate challenges related to trauma, burnout, identity, family conflict, boundaries, and the pressures that often come with high-stakes professions or competitive environments.
My Journey My life has been shaped by overcoming obstacles that once seemed impossible.
As a young child, I was diagnosed with a neurological condition and told that I would likely never walk, talk, or become a functional member of society. Those early predictions could have defined the course of my life—but they didn’t.
With the support of my family, friends, and mentors—and through relentless hard work—I found the courage to face my fears, fall, get back up, and keep learning in my pursuit of becoming the best version of myself.
Step by step, challenge by challenge, I learned to walk, talk, think, and feel again. What began as small victories gradually grew into a deeper belief that human potential is far greater than the limitations we are sometimes given.
As I grew older, I rediscovered movement and competition through sport. I went on to play rugby, baseball, and hockey at multiple junior levels. Athletics became more than just a passion—it became a powerful teacher. Through sport, I learned discipline, resilience, teamwork, and the importance of understanding my own strengths, needs, and learning style.
That same determination led me to a 12-year career as a paramedic. Working on the front lines, I witnessed firsthand the immense pressures people face and the strength required to navigate trauma, uncertainty, and crisis. These experiences deepened my respect for the resilience of the human spirit and strengthened my commitment to helping others overcome adversity.
My path eventually led me to pursue further education and training in psychotherapy, driven by a desire to help others navigate their own struggles and discover their capacity for growth and change.
My Philosophy Life is full of struggle, and not everyone will believe in your potential—but the one person who must believe in it is you.
Through my experiences, I have learned that resilience is not something you are simply born with. It is something that can be developed. With the right strategies, support, and self-understanding, people can overcome incredible obstacles and move toward a more meaningful and fulfilling life.
At KORR, we operate from a foundational conviction: change is not distant or abstract—it is proximal, actionable, and attainable.
We believe that growth is rarely about becoming someone entirely new. Instead, it is about activating the capacity that already exists within you. Every individual possesses psychological resources for progress. Sometimes those resources need structure. Sometimes they need perspective. Sometimes they require disciplined effort—but they are there.
Breaking out of self-sabotaging behaviours and toxic patterns can feel impossible. It can feel like you are constantly fighting an uphill battle—knowing you need change but not knowing where to start.
Your decision to try therapy can be the moment where that change begins.
My mission is to guide others—whether first responders, athletes, or individuals facing personal and professional challenges—to build resilience, trust their own abilities, and move forward with strength, clarity, and purpose. Life will always include challenges, setbacks, and moments when the path forward feels uncertain. But my journey has taught me something powerful: people are far more resilient than they often realize.
With the right support, perspective, and tools, it is possible to move beyond limitation, rebuild confidence, and create a life defined not by struggle alone, but by strength, meaning, and possibility.
